It's been roughly six hours since my team, WalkIn was announced a co-winner of StartupBus 2011. The other winner was TripMedi hailing from the NYC bus. 

One of the things that really struck me were the words of Jay Stakelon(http://www.jaystakelon.com/), a member of Bouncr, a Bit.ly for email which was another finalist. He told me that we deserved it because everytime he came into the co-working space(thx Vast.com), my team was already there and remained there after he left.

It’s great to have won but it is extra special for your peers to recognize your work. It also makes up for the fact that I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in a week and having gone to a non-StartupBus SXSW session all week. I think all of the finalist teams are awesome and I’m sure their futures will be bright. After some much needed decompress time, I’ll blog about being on the bus.
